DaySpring Baptist Church will host its inaugural Mega Conference for the church’s Women of Wisdom, DIVAS, Men’s and Youth auxiliaries.
The conference will be held Aug. 24-26 at the church at 1945 NE Eighth Ave. The theme will be "Building Bridges While Standing in the Gap." The scripture for the conference will be Titus 2:1-6.
There is a registration fee of $25, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch.
The schedule will be as follows:
Aug. 24: 7 p.m., game night with praise and worship.
Aug. 25: 9 a.m.-2 p.m., workshop for women led by the Rev. Dr. Geraldine McClellan, former pastor of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church and a workshop for men led by Deacon Darry Lloyd of Mount Moriah Baptist Church.
Aug. 26: 10 a.m., the guest speaker will be Minister John Alexander.
